This 12 week program teaches children how to identify birds and learn about ecology around them! Ages 8-11.
This program is perfect for those who are curious about nature. Bird Scouts will teach bird identification, ecology and dietary habits. You will be helping scientists from Cornell Lab of Ornithology to record local data on bird populations and after completing the course, you will receive a Bird Scout Certification from the California Science Action Club! You must be able to attend each session and pick up a Bird Scout Activity Kit from the Michael Kusalaba Library.
Join us on Zoom. Registration is required. A link to the program will be sent to the email you share during registration before the program begins.
